Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park is both interesting and very pretty during the summer; it is awesome in the winter, like most of the park, given good snow.
But its during the first weeks of March, when the hot springs are first awakening from winter, that, if I am out during the early morning hours before the morning sun has warmed a breeze for the day, I realize that I live in an incomparably lovely place.
