There was once a sign above Mammoth,
A stand made of wood, a cover of plastic
And behind it a map, very clear and concise.
On the cover there lay a red arrow to say,
“You Are Here, You Are Here, You Are Here.”
One day I walked by, under clear blue sky
And saw naught of the map should reside.
A choice of two trails lay before me,
Both seemed to me the less traveled by.
On the stand of wood with the cover of plastic
Lay clear and concise, the red arrow as always
And the letters above “You Are Here”.
Though the map disappeared the message was clear.
“Arrow is truth, truth arrow” – that is all
Ya know on this trail, and all ya need to know.
