A musing - on Intelligent Design.

13 January 07

Life’s twists and turns suggest importance in events themselves to be
what made the difference; but if we look back carefully enough to the source of things, that butterfly wing that inspired the thought that made the difference in the choices of doors, the knock unanswered, the word unsaid, each in its turn, we understand that the smallest of things made the hairpin turns happen. We understand in time that the smallest of things are proceeded by smaller still and the guiding hand of the divine comedy subtler still than that.
We are, so many of us, so very far from home; and it visits us – home – so very briefly, in hints and moments, along the way.
The intelligent design behind flatulence can express nothing less than the divine principal`s greatest gift, that of genuine good humor – or so it would seem.
