I got to thinking the other day about an old phrase from the Bible that always intrigued me. “And the light shines on the darkness and the darkness perceives it not”, and that always somehow brings me back to the allegory of the cave, which I always find depressing.
Dwelling on the thought got me to looking around and wondering, when my mind was not occupied with other things; most anything is food for curiosity when the mind set is right. After a while it started to become a habit, kind of a “what’s wrong with this picture” frame of mind.
Then suddenly out of nowhere the real question jumped out.
“Why do you think of yourself as darkness?”
Good question! it could have me goin’ for a while.
Mm ... Mm ... Mm.
